Senior Brand Manager

Location: Central London (Hybrid - office attendance once every two weeks)

Salary: £50,000

Reports to: Head of Marketing

The Role

A leading global digital marketplace is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, creative direction, and communication across all touchpoints. This hands‑on, senior role requires a strategic leader who can define brand positioning while managing campaigns, content, creators, and assets at speed.

The successful candidate will elevate the brand through campaigns, PR, partnerships, video, events, and storytelling—shaping how the business is perceived by customers, partners, and the market.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Define brand positioning, tone of voice, narrative, and creative identity.
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines.
  • Conduct market and audience research to inform direction.
Creative Direction & Content
  • Plan and deliver brand assets across digital, print, video, events, and website content.
  • Lead creative briefs and ensure alignment across designers, creators, and agencies.
  • Manage the brand calendar, including campaigns, PR, blogs, videos, and case studies.
  • Partner with Acquisition and Retention teams to support funnel performance.
Social Media, Influencers & PR
  • Define social media strategy and oversee regular content creation.
  • Manage influencer and ambassador relationships.
  • Work with PR agencies and media to secure high‑value placements.
Video, Events & Activations
  • Lead video strategy from concept to distribution.
  • Manage sponsored events, conferences, and community activations.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.
Analytics & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Track and analyse brand performance, awareness, and perception.
  • Use insights to optimise messaging, targeting, and campaigns.
  • Work with Product, Data, Sales, and Partnerships to deliver brand‑aligned materials.
Team Leadership & Innovation
  • Coach and support brand team members.
  • Develop creative processes, approvals, and content cadence.
  • Drive adoption of AI and new tools to improve efficiency.
Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in brand, content, or creative leadership in a fast‑growth digital business.
  • Strong creative instincts with practical execution skills.
  • Proven success managing campaigns, video, influencer programs, and PR initiatives.
  • Skilled at storytelling across multiple formats.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and creators.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and able to balance long‑term brand‑building with rapid deliverables.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Leadership experience managing small, high‑performing teams.
  • Digital marketplace experience is a plus.
