Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Senior Bid Manager - Engineering Services role will include:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids in line with client specifications and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary technical and commercial information.
  • Ensure all bids meet industry and compliance standards within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Analyse bid requirements to identify risks and opportunities for the business.
  • Maintain and update bid documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals.
  • Track and report on the progress of bids to senior management.
  • Support the sales team in securing new business and achieving revenue targets.
The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Bid Manager - Engineering Services role, applicants should have the below experience:

  • 4+ years experience in a bids related role
  • Proven experience in bid management, ideally in a similar sector such as engineering, energy services, manufacturing - although this is not essential.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong track record of managing end to end, high value bids.
  • APMP qualification is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools and software to streamline processes.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
