Qualifications

• Experience in a similar operational role within the utility sector.
• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical systems.
• Current or previous DNO / iDNO 11kV AP / SAP Operational Authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor staff supporting their development.
• Conduct competency assessments to ensure compliance.
• Perform pre-commissioning and testing of 11kV & LV switchgear.
• Plan and execute DNO LV & HV Self-Connect activities.
• Install and test CT metering wiring.

Skills

Utility sector experience

Knowledge of HV and LV distribution networks

Education

HNC or equivalent qualification

Health & Safety qualification (e.g. SSSTS or IOSH)
