A well-established multi-sited accountancy firm in Braintree is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior. The successful candidate will prepare accounts and audits independently, manage a team, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Ideal applicants will have 5-6 years of practice experience, strong communication skills, and be either ACCA or ACA qualified. Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of Practice Experience in accounting and audit.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
  • Understanding of business practices and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive accounts and audit work independently.
  • Review work of assistant team members and provide feedback.
  • Manage complex accounting issues and prepare tax computations.
  • Support Partners and Managers with additional tasks.

Skills

Good communication skills
Knowledge of accounting disclosures (FRS102, IFRS)
Good knowledge of audit regulations
IT literacy and solid accounting skills
Writing skills for accounts reports
Experience in preparing Group and Consolidated Accounts
Ability to manage and train assistant team members

Education

Qualified or recently qualified ACCA or ACA
