Job summary

A leading UK-based architectural practice is seeking an accomplished Associate Architect to join their team in London. The role involves leading design projects through all RIBA stages, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Applicants must be ARB accredited with at least 10 years of experience in a UK-based practice. This position offers a competitive salary range of £58,000 - £68,000.

Qualifications

  • Must be ARB accredited with a minimum of 10 years' experience at Architect level in a UK-based practice.
  • Strong design, technical, and conservation expertise with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Building and Planning Regulations.
  • AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditation is highly desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
  • Engage in business development and work-winning activities.
  • Conduct project management and contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building and Planning Regulations.
  • Maintain client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
