Job summary

Five Guys in Watford is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, coach crew, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll work with the General Manager to drive profitability, ensure top-quality burgers and fries, and bring our values to life on the floor.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of management in a busy hospitality setting, a proven eye for customer service, and experience with P&L, labor, and stock control. The role offers a rewarding bonus and career progression with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and positive Mystery Shopper results.
• Experience assisting with P&L, labour, and stock/inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew on the line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers & fries and a great guest experience.

• Ensure each customer is delighted and handle complaints promptly and transparently.
• Own shift execution and contribute to long-term planning and cost control.
