Job summary

Five Guys is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a high‑energy team on the restaurant floor and kitchen, supporting the General Manager to deliver perfect burgers and exceptional guest service.

You will coach and develop staff, maintain hygiene and food safety standards, and drive profitability through efficient operations and cost controls. A strong leader with a customer‑first mindset will thrive here, with opportunities for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or similar environment.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and sales.
• Experience assisting with P&L, cost control and inventory/waste management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew on the dining floor and line.
• Support the General Manager to deliver burgers, fries and a great guest experience.
• Create a positive, productive work environment aligned with company values.
• Handle customer complaints openly and promptly to recover satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth shift operations and contribute to long‑term planning.
• Own and monitor P&L, driving sales while controlling costs.
