Job summary

Five Guys is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced burger restaurant in the United Kingdom. You will partner with the General Manager to deliver exceptional burgers and fries, while coaching staff to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction.

You will manage shifts, monitor food safety, costs and operational excellence, and work to develop your team for future leadership roles within Five Guys. A values-based, customer-first environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment
• Proven leadership, coaching and people-development abilities
• Track record of delivering customer satisfaction and a strong guest experience
• Ability to manage P&L, control costs and drive profitability
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front on the line and dining area, coaching shifts managers and crew
• Support the General Manager to deliver high-quality burgers, fries and customer experience
• Create a positive, energetic working environment aligned with company values
• Handle complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
• Drive sales while managing costs to meet store profitability targets
• Own and develop the talent pipeline to sustain service excellence
