As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting critical functions within Children's Services. You'll work closely with social workers, managers, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality administrative support that underpins effective safeguarding, care planning and ensures the smooth delivery of services that protect and empower young people and their families.

What you’ll do
  • Child Protection Coordination – ensuring accurate records, scheduling meetings, and supporting statutory processes.
  • Early Help Hub Arrangements – assisting with referrals, maintaining data systems, and liaising with professionals to provide timely support for families.
  • Care Leaver Funding Support – managing financial processes, tracking payments, and ensuring compliance with policy. Highly organised and adaptable, with strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Proficient in IT systems and experienced in handling sensitive information securely.
  • Effective communicator, able to engage with diverse stakeholders and demonstrate transferable skills from previous roles. Receive a thorough induction to help you feel confident and prepared in your role.
