We’re looking for a dynamic and resilient leader to join our Adjudications Department as a Senior Adjudications Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving high performance, quality, and accountability across a busy hearings operation that plays a vital role in protecting the public and upholding confidence in the nursing and midwifery professions.
You will lead a team of hearings managers and operational staff, providing clear direction and support to ensure hearings are delivered efficiently, fairly and to consistently high standards. The postholder will play a key role in strengthening team culture, embedding NMC values and behaviours and supporting colleagues to reach their full potential.
This role carries significant operational responsibility — you will monitor budgets, manage the team and ensure resources are used effectively to deliver excellent outcomes.
We are a public-facing adjudication service with hearings delivered both virtually and in person from our London hearing centre in Stratford and Edinburgh. Theholder will be expected to maintain a strong and visible presence across our hearing operations, spending regular time on site to support staff, observe delivery and engage with stakeholders.
You’ll be a confident and experienced leader who thrives on challenge and improvement. You’ll have a proven record of managing complex operational teams and someone who thrives on engaging people to perform at their best and on driving continuous improvement.
