Job summary

A leading recruitment agency for educational professionals is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to work 3 days per week and an experienced SENDCo for 2 days per week in Walsall. Nursery Teacher (3 Days per Week) & SENDCo (2 Days per Week) - Walsall

Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Until July 2026)
Pay: To be negotiated

Empowering Learning is delighted to be working with a warm, inclusive, and nurturing early years provision in Walsall to recruit an experienced Nursery Teacher (3 days per week) alongside a SENDCo (2 days per week) for a January 2026 start until July 2026.

About the Settings

Staff work closely with families to ensure every child feels valued, safe, and eager to learn. With a strong focus on early development, communication, and play-based learning, the schools pride themselves on creating environments where children can thrive.

The Successful Candidates Will:
Nursery Teacher (3 Days)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent experience teaching in Early Years (within the last 5 years)
  • Demonstrate a passion for early childhood development and learning through play
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
SENDCo (2 Days)
  • Hold the National Award for SEND Coordination (desirable)
  • Have experience supporting SEND provision within Early Years
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of EHCPs, inclusion strategies, and statutory guidance
  • Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
