SENDCo (Temp to Perm) – Rochdale
Start: ASAP | Full-time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Are you an experienced SENDCo ready to step into a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? A welcoming school in Rochdale is looking for a passionate and proactive SENDCo to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
  • Oversee EHCPs, IEPs, and tailored support plans
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff and SLT to drive inclusive practice
  • Liaise with parents/carers and external professionals
  • Monitor progress, interventions, and outcomes for SEND pupils
  • Ensure the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and best practice
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred)
  • Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is working towards it)
  • Confident managing EHCPs and multi-agency involvement
  • Strong with organisation, communication, and relationship-building
  • Passionate about inclusion, progress and safeguarding
