Job summary

SENse Learning seeks SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, with ongoing hiring and rolling interviews.

You will work in homes or community settings, delivering trauma-informed, bespoke tutoring tailored to EHCP plans, often across KS1–KS5. Flexible hours and various teaching formats are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way with creativity

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring to SEMH and SEND learners
• Plan and report lessons and give feedback on student progress
