Job summary

SENse Learning seeks SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for high-need learners across home, in-person, hybrid and online settings. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with ongoing hiring and rolling interviews.

We prioritize trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring and offer flexible hours, a supportive team, and opportunities to impact a young person’s education while fitting around family or school commitments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• QTS or QTLS certification and safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way with creativity.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to individual needs.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and give regular feedback to carers and authorities.
