Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking passionate Intervention Tutors to provide one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH learners across the UK. Roles offer in-person, online/remote and hybrid teaching options with flexible scheduling and collaboration with families, schools, and local authorities.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years post-NQT experience, QTS/QTLS, and a trauma-informed approach to education. DBS checks and references are required; the role is offered to self-employed tutors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• QTS/QTLS required; Enhanced DBS compliance.
• You will work in a child-centred, holistic way to tailor learning to each pupil.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-1 bespoke interventions to re-engage pupils with challenging needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring tailored to each student’s EHCP and risk assessment.
• Plan and report lessons, track progress, and communicate with parents, carers and schools.
