Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom seeks SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND across KS1–KS5. Roles include Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, with flexible hours and self-employed engagement.

Tutor opportunities offer in-person, online, and hybrid delivery in community settings. A trauma-informed, pupil-centred approach helps learners who have faced significant challenges, with ongoing rolling applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND.
• QTS or QTLS qualification; UK-based.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with right to work.
• Self-employed tutor status; not a PAYE role.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid one-to-one tutoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress to carers or schools.
• Support KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed, pupil-centred sessions.
• Safeguard and adhere to safer recruitment practices.
