Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors in the United Kingdom to support children and young people with SEND and SEMH through one-to-one sessions. You’ll deliver in-person, online, or hybrid tutoring, tailoring plans to EHCP needs and safeguarding requirements.

As a self-employed tutor, you’ll enjoy flexible hours, the chance to impact students’ lives, and supported referrals and community events within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed, student-centred lessons.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress, with regular feedback to carers and authorities.
• Work in a child-centred, trauma-informed way and contribute to safeguarding
• Coordinate with parents, carers, or schools to schedule sessions
