Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting SEND Teachers to provide one‑to‑one support for children and young people with SEND. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with ongoing interviews on rolling basis.

Based in the UK, you can work in-person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours from part-time to full-time. You will join a mission‑driven team dedicated to helping learners with SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD through bespoke, holistic sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) required.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH, and working trauma‑informed.
• Ability to tailor teaching to individual needs and home/school settings.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons with feedback on student progress.
• Adapt curriculum to EHCP requirements and risk assessments.
• Work in a child-centred, trauma-informed way with flexibility.
