Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and other needs in homes, community settings or online. Roles include Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, with ongoing interviews as applications arrive.

You'll work flexibly with parents, carers or schools, gain meaningful, trauma-informed teaching experience, and join a supportive team offering DBS assistance and career pathways.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed, pupil-centred learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback to carers or schools.
