Job summary

A tutoring company is seeking a passionate SEND tutor to provide personalized 1:1 sessions. Flexible working hours allow for a balance between work and family life. You will adapt your teaching to each student's needs and work within a collaborative community aimed at supporting SEND learners. Experience with SEND students is preferred but not mandatory. What You’ll Do

• Provide engaging 1:1 sessions, adapting your approach to each student’s needs.

• Collaborate with parents, carers, and PowerTutors staff to tailor each session for success.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with SEND students (Qualified Teacher Status is a bonus but not required).
• A genuine passion for education, patience, and an understanding of neurodiverse needs.
• A reliable, compassionate approach to tutoring and student well-being.
• An Enhanced DBS check (on the update service preferred) and eligibility to work in the UK (we can assist you in obtaining a DBS check if needed).
• Commitment to consistency: our students depend on reliable support to thrive.
