SEND Teaching Assistants – Full-time and Part-time roles available


We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across a variety of primary and secondary school settings in Harrow and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact and enjoy working in diverse educational environments.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under guidance from teaching staff
  • Promote a safe and positive learning environment for all learners
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
