A local primary school in Chiswick seeks an experienced class teacher for its SEND Resource Provision. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team as the class teacher for Meadow Class, our specialist KS1 SEND Resource Provision for pupils with EHCPs where the primary identified need is Communication and Interaction.
Meadow Class opened in September 2025 and is sponsored by Oaklands School as part of Hounslow's resource provision pathway. We are now excited to appoint our own specialist class teacher to lead the provision forward. The class has up to eight pupils, supported by two skilled teaching assistants, with continued professional support from Oaklands one day per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed SEND practitioner to help shape a nurturing and inclusive provision at an exciting stage of its development. The successful candidate will also be part of a growing SEND team as we expand into KS2 SEND provision next year.
We volunteered for inspection under the new Ofsted framework and were inspected in November 2025. We are looking forward to the publication of our report card in January.
