Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEND Primary Teacher based near Grimsby, Lincolnshire to work full time from January 2026. The position involves KS1‑2 with children with Autism, Social and Emotional difficulties, typically working at a much lower level.

Start: January 2026
Duration: Long term, ongoing
Working hours: 8.30 till 15.30 (term time only)
Pay: (phone number removed) pounds a day.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver daily teaching at KS1‑2 level to children with SEND, focusing on autonomy and individualized support.
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and adapt curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and report.
All I require of you
  • Hold a QTS status. The school will consider PGCE without QTS or extensive work experience as a class lead in a similar school environment
  • Have current knowledge of the curriculum
  • Have recent experience with the age range you want to work with and with SEND/SEMH students
  • Have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have a love for teaching children
  • DBS on the Update Service or ability to apply for one.
