Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors in the UK to deliver bespoke, one-to-one tutoring for SEND/SEMH learners across KS1–KS5. Roles support pupils with diverse needs through in-person, online, and hybrid formats, with safeguarding and trauma-informed practice at the core.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are advised for safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
