Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors to provide bespoke, one-to-one sessions for SEND/SEMH learners across KS1–KS5 where appropriate. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring, with a focus on trauma-informed, student-centred approaches to re-engage learners who face challenges in mainstream education.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online roles.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are required.
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring support.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback.
