Job summary

SENse Learning seeks an Intervention Tutor to provide tailored 1-1 support for SEND and SEMH learners in Banbury and across the UK. You will work flexibly in-person, online, or hybrid settings with parents, carers, or schools to re-engage students in education.

Join a mission-driven team delivering trauma-informed, pupil-centred tutoring from KS1 to KS5, building confidence and academic progress. QTS/QTLS required; DBS and references essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references.
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring across KS1–KS5.
• Plan, deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress.
