Job summary

SENse Learning is looking for Intervention Tutors to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners across KS1–KS5 in the UK. Roles include delivering bespoke, trauma-informed tutoring in in-person, online or hybrid formats and coordinating with parents, carers and schools to plan effective sessions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• QTS or QTLS is required.
• Understanding of child-centered, holistic approaches to teaching and the ability to adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and 2+ professional references are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring for SEMH and SEND learners (KS1–KS5).
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver trauma-informed, flexible interventions tailored to individual EHCPs and risk assessments.
