Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking an Intervention Tutor to provide one-to-one support to priority learners in the UK. You will deliver bespoke, trauma-informed sessions across SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD needs, adapting to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.

The role offers in-person, online/remote and hybrid delivery and a self-employed contract structure. You will plan engaging lessons, report progress, and coordinate with parents and schools to ensure holistic support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Experience working with trauma-informed approaches to learning.
• Location and safeguarding: UK resident with right to work; enhanced DBS and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke, one-to-one interventions to re-engage pupils.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and schools to tailor sessions.
