Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring Intervention Tutors in the UK to provide one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH learners, delivering bespoke, trauma-informed sessions in-person, online, or hybrid.

You will work 2+ years post-NQT with QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS, and a child-centred approach, planning lessons, reporting progress, and coordinating with families and schools.

This role offers flexible hours, competitive pay of £35–£45 per hour, and a supportive community of educators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required or can be facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
• Work in a child-centred, trauma-informed way and maintain safeguarding standards.
