Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors in the UK to support SEND/SEMH learners through one-to-one, trauma-informed tutoring. You will deliver bespoke sessions in-person, online, or hybrid, working with KS1–KS5 depending on your skills. The role is flexible and part-time to full-time, with ongoing interviews.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, hold QTS/QTLS, and are DBS cleared. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to brighter futures for every student.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Understanding of how to work in a child-centred, holistic way; you will have the ingenuity and creativity to tailor the curriculum for the individual.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs who have experienced difficulties in previous education settings.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to SEND/SEMH learners, including MLD/SLD/PMLD, tailored to EHCP and risk assessments.
• Plan lessons and report for lessons with regular feedback on student progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools and authorities to support learner outcomes.
