Overview

SEND Assessment Coordinator Temporary Vacancy Available

Hours: Full time

Rate: £280 per day

Location: Hybrid - Halton 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the SEND assessment process, particularly for post-16 learners
• Lead on complex case management, ensuring timely progression through statutory processes
• Liaise with schools, colleges, parents/carers, and partner agencies to secure the best outcomes for young people
• Prepare and maintain accurate casework records and reports
• Support the Council in meeting statutory obligations in relation to the SEND Code of Practice
