Job Title: SENCO Manager

Location: Staffordshire - Centre based

Salary: up to 42,000 (Depending on experience)

Qualifications
  • Qualified teacher with QTS / QTLS / CTLLS (or equivalent).
  • Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements (or equivalent).
  • Experience in regional inclusion/SENCO roles.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a SENCO qualification (e.g. NPQ SENCO).
  • Strong background in SEND provision.
  • Skilled in managing SEND support, tailoring interventions, and implementing exam arrangements.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing the Special Educational Needs Education provision, and leading a team of Learning Support staff who support learners with SEND needs across a variety of subjects.
  • Implementation of CPD plans for the delivery team and conduct observations to ensure that their ability to support SEN learners is improved and maintained.
  • Assess and agree on support plans for learners aged 15-18, who present complex learning needs.
  • Lead on and conduct EHCP annual monitoring reviews in line with LA guidance.
  • Support wider operational needs of the education department
  • Oversee SEND policy, maintain accurate SEND register, and ensure compliance with the SEND code of practice.
