Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status and be willing to complete the National Award for SEN Coordination.
• Previous experience in an Autism/SEMH school is needed.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Conduct is essential.

Responsibilities

• Determine the strategic development of SEN policy.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with their EHCPs.
• Be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Communicate regularly with parents or carers.
