A well-regarded and inclusive school in Harrow is seeking a committed and experienced SENCO to lead and develop SEND provision across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SENCO to make a meaningful impact within a supportive leadership team.

The Role

As SENCO, you will:



  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school in line with the SEND Code of Practice

  • Oversee and review EHCPs, IEPs, and provision maps

  • Identify pupils with additional needs and ensure appropriate support is in place

  • Work closely with teachers to support quality-first teaching and differentiation

  • Line manage and support SEN TAs and support staff

  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, therapists, and the local authority

  • Attend and contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings

  • Support staff with SEN training, strategies, and best practice

  • Monitor progress and impact of interventions


About You


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • National SENCO Award (completed or willingness to work towards)

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN, including EHCP processes

  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice

  • Confident, organised, and proactive leadership style

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Passionate about inclusive education
