Hazel Tree Education are seeking a passionate and supportive Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Warrington. The role will primarily be supporting Students with SEND in a KS1 classroom.

The school requires an enthusiastic and capable Teaching Assistant as soon as possible to support learners full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

This is a temporary position although could span long-term for the right candidate.

What we’re looking for:
  • A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A resilient, pro‑active nature with a positive, can‑do attitude.
Successful candidates must have:
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
  • At least two references including most recent / current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
