A leading educational organization in Newbury is seeking qualified SEN Teachers for long-term temporary roles. The position involves developing and implementing tailored educational programs for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Candidates should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, with experience teaching primary subjects. This rewarding role offers the chance to inspire students and support their academic and personal development.
Blackstone Education are working with a SEMH School based in Newbury who are looking to recruit SEN Teachers to join them on a long-term temp basis.
This school provides highly effective education, therapy, welfare and support for both boys and girls aged from 6 to 19 years who have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), as well as other complex needs.
The school sits across three sites and delivers a structured program of education, tailored to each student's individual needs and considering their Education, Health and Care plans. Students are taught in small cohorts and individually, by fully qualified teachers and instructors.
As a SEN Teacher, you will have the freedom to bring your creativity and practical teaching expertise to life. You will lead flexible, person-centered programmes of study, tailoring learning to each pupil's needs and helping them achieve meaningful outcomes. Every day will bring new challenges, but the rewards of seeing pupils grow in confidence, independence, and resilience are unparalleled.
You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, plan and assess teaching sessions in line with curriculum developments, and create stimulating learning environments both inside and outside the classroom. You will write, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), set achievable targets, and build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage participation and motivation. Supporting pupils with complex needs and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development will also be a key part of your role.
