Full-Time SEND Teacher - Permanent Role
Location: Central Sheffield SEN school
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive school in central Sheffield to recruit a full-time SEND Teacher for a permanent position working with a small group of Year 7 students with additional needs.

This role will initially be pay rolled through Tradewind Recruitment, with the successful candidate moving onto a direct contract with the school following the agreed period.

The Role
  • Teaching a dedicated group of Year 7 pupils with additional needs

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to support a range of SEND

  • Working closely with two experienced Teaching Assistants in the classroom

  • Collaborating with a supportive and experienced Senior Leadership Team

  • Creating a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have previous experience working with children with additional needs (SEND)

  • Be patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education

  • Have strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Be committed to making a real difference in pupils' lives
