Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEN

Pay: 14-16 per hour
Location: Flexible / In-person
Hours: Part-time, flexible

Catch Up Academy is looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting children and young people with SEN, particularly speech, language, and communication needs.

The Role

• Support learners alongside a teacher or tutor
• Help students access learning, remain regulated, and build confidence
• Reinforce learning activities set by the tutor/teacher
• Promote independence and positive behaviour

Essential Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Patient, calm, adaptable
• Good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

• Experience with Speech and Language needs
• Background in education, care, or SEN Reid.
