A teaching agency is seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) for a temporary role in Belper, starting January 2025. The position involves assisting students, particularly those with autism, in accessing their curriculum and monitoring their progress. Ideal candidates should have at least 6 months of classroom experience or in a SEND environment, along with strong communication and behaviour management skills. Start Date: January 2025
Pay Rate: £108.60 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Qualification: Desirable – Makaton and Level 3 but experience is also welcomed
Experience: Experience in working with children and young people with autism – 6 months minimum

There are multiple roles available including daily casual bank and also long term full time positions. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled SEN TA educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at from EYFS to 16+.
