Job summary

A leading educational support organization in the UK is seeking a Well-being Support Worker to assist students with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will be responsible for offering individualized support, implementing tailored strategies, and promoting the well-being and confidence of students. Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people.
  • Ability to implement tailored support strategies and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Offering one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Assisting students with coping strategies for managing stress and anxiety.
  • Helping students develop social and emotional skills.
  • Creating and implementing individualized support plans with teachers and parents.
  • Encouraging positive behavior and self-confidence among students.
