A reputable educational support organization in Witney is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help motivate and support pupils with special educational needs. Ideal candidates should have a university degree, preferably in Psychology or Criminology, and experience with SEN is beneficial but not required. This full-time position offers £85 - £95 per day, working Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include supporting learning, providing personal care, and shadowing professionals for future educational psychologist training.

Qualifications

• University degree in Psychology or Criminology preferred.
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
• Experience with SEN is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a small group of SEN pupils with their learning and emotional needs.
• Ensure each child stays on track and meets their milestones.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging classroom.
• Provide personal care such as toileting and feeding.
• Learn to implement individualized support plans.
• Shadow the psychologist and therapist on-site.
