Remedy Education are working with one of the top SEN schools in Tower Hamlets. The school is genuinely passionate about giving the best possible support and education to the children they work with and are now looking for an SEN Behaviour Assistant to start January.

This is a varied role. You will be on call across the school, stepping in where extra support is needed in classrooms. Outside of this, you'll be working 1:1 or 1:2 with SEN pupils, mentoring them and supporting their behaviour, emotional regulation, and wellbeing.

You'll be supporting students with challenging behaviour, so confidence, consistency, and a calm approach are key.

Requirements:
  • Resilient and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Physically active and comfortable in a hands‑on role
  • Positive attitude and mindset
  • Confident using behaviour strategies and de‑escalation techniques
  • Experience with restraint / positive handling (Team Teach or similar)

This is a rewarding but demanding role, perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference in an SEN setting and isn't afraid of a challenge.
