Job description

Overview

The company is a multi-discipline specialist engineering firm based in Epsom. Services include mechanical maintenance, fire system maintenance, facilities support and consulting. The business employs over 15 engineers.

The Role

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30. This is a semi-static AC Engineer role based 3 days a week on a Data Centre site in Hounslow (single-man site) and 2 days a week mobile, primarily within car showrooms (e.g., Audi, VW). Your area of cover will be primarily West London, Central London and surrounding counties (no sites in East London & Essex).

Duties include:

• Service and maintenance of mechanical plant and components as detailed in asset registers and planned maintenance programmes (quarterly rotation).
• Maintain accurate written records for works carried out to plant on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical reporting for works carried out on plant and equipment, including items that have failed or required emergency service.

Expected general duties:

• Maintain a high level of response and professionalism when dealing with customers on site.
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting and technical accounting.
• Assist in the smooth running of the sites and support fellow team members to achieve the contract goals.
• Carry out work as required to support the team in an emergency.

• CRAC Units
• Dry Aired Coolers
• Chillers
• VRVs/VRFs
• Splits
• Mult splits
• Associated pumps (conventional heat pumps, large water pumps)

Candidate Requirements
