Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant (SEMH Specialist)

Location: Sheffield

Contract: Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (aligned with school hours)

Pay Rate: £88.94 - £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay, commensurate with expertise)

Your Profile
  • Proven background in an educational, youth support, or mentoring capacity, preferably within SEMH, Special Educational Needs (SEN), or a similar pastoral setting.
  • Valid, practical experience applying Team Teach strategies to promote safe, supportive, and positive interventions.
  • An unwavering commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, underpinned by a robust understanding of pastoral care duties.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or the willingness to process a new application immediately.
  • The capability to supply two professional references that validate your aptitude for working with vulnerable children and young adults.
