SEMH Teacher – West Yorkshire
Location : West Yorkshire (roles in Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax, and Bradford)
Pay : £160 – £210 per day
Contract : Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a dedicated specialist setting supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will deliver creative, tailored lessons that engage and inspire students who may have experienced disruption or trauma in education.
Plan and deliver lessons across a small group of learners, adapting to individual EHCPs.
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs to reach academic and personal milestones.
Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
Promote a positive learning environment, focusing on consistency, trust, and relationship-building.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
