Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive Splunk adoption for key customers in the UK. You will guide security use cases, optimize deployments, and partner with sales and support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes deep technical expertise in Enterprise Security, Splunk ES, and UBA, with a focus on resilience and risk reduction. You will engage with customers to translate requirements into actionable best practices, mentor peers, and help

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT with at least 3 years in information security
• Experience using or administering SIEM/security log management systems
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in ES/SOAR/UBA
• Industry-standard security certification (GIAC/CISSP/OSCP)
• Proficient in Unix and Windows environments; scripting in Bash or Python

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA
• Resolve complex customer challenges to improve system resilience
• Accelerate adoption of Splunk security platform for customers
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support
• Engage with broader account team to align strategic plans
• Build scalable processes and collateral to improve efficiency
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within accounts
• Mentor team members and participate in internal training
