Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for its most critical customers in the UK. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating customer use cases into security best practices and working with product teams to improve offerings.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success, improve resilience, and identify opportunities for expansion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM or security log management systems (e.g. Splunk, ArcSight, ELK).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience managing Splunk premium apps (ES, SOAR, UBA).
• Industry security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or OSCP preferred.
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments; CLI proficiency and scripting (Bash/Python).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk User Behavior Analytics.
• Resolve complex customer challenges proactively to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader Splunk Account Team to share information and align account plans.
• Build scalable processes, collateral, and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive customer CSAT scores by documenting compelling success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in team development initiatives and internal training to foster learning.
