Job Role: Security Supervisor

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, nights (18:00-6:00) - average 42 hours per week

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location: Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, Widnes Road, Warrington, WA5 2UT

Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for an experienced Security Supervisor to join our established security team basedat Fiddlers Ferry Power Station in Warrington.

As a Security Supervisor, you will beresponsible for overseeing the night operations, monitoring site activity, responding promptly to incidents,liaising professionally with visitors and site management, and maintainingaccurate records in line with operational procedures. You will be required to carry out regular vehiclepatrols (using an on-site company vehicle) and manage site access via thegatehouse to maintain the security and integrity of the site. A strong presence,attention to detail, and commitment to upholding site security standards areessential to ensuring a safe and secure environment.

The successful candidate must hold a valid SIA Licence as aminimum. A CCTV licence is preferred but not essential, provided you have knowledgeof CCTV systems.

A full UK driving licence is also required, as the roleinvolves carrying out site patrols using an on-site company vehicle.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property,people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordancewith the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specificprocedures
• Preventing losses and damage byreporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
• Ensure all emergency procedures arefollowed and lead/coordinate effective/evacuations/protocol, if required.
• Follow all escalation procedures withAnchor Group Services and the client.
• Assisting the CCTVoperations including all files and documentation to meet all dataprotection requirements of GDPR, reporting to management.
• Oversee all day-to-day Securityoperations ensuring effective key/equipment control.
• Ensure security patrol schedules arebeing followed.
• Manage contractor work permitprocedures.
• Ensure all necessary health and safetyinspections/patrols are completed to maintain compliance of siteprocedures. Reporting all incidents, accidents, damage and near missed tothe management team (client) immediately via verbal communication followedby a detailed investigation report.
• Actively maintain a safe, helpful, andsecure environment for staff and visitors.
• Deal with queries andcomplaints quickly and efficiently and escalating when required to asenior manager in which it applies, reporting all cases.
  
• Prepare KPI information for management.
  

Requirements

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
  
• Essential: Frontline SIA licence (DS or SG)
  
• Essential: Valid UK Driving Licence
  
• Essential: Previous supervisory experience
  
• A CCTV licence is preferred but not essential, provided youhave knowledge of CCTV systems.
  
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflictin a correct manner
