Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our Enterprise Security customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex security needs into actionable best practices and collaborating across product teams to improve offerings.

You will build strong relationships with customers, ensure robust health and high CSAT scores, and identify opportunities for product expansion within existing accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with minimum 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM/security log management systems (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, ELK).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in ES/UBA/SOAR or similar apps.
• At least one industry security cert (GIAC/CISSP/OSCP or equivalent).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments with Bash/Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to provide technical guidance on use case development and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Apply security expertise to accelerate adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, SE, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the account team to align strategic plans and share critical information.
• Build scalable processes, develop collateral, and implement tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive CSAT by documenting customer success stories and expanding product opportunities.
• Identify and champion expansion opportunities within existing accounts to foster growth.
• Participate in team development and training to promote ongoing learning.
