Job summary

Splunk is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for enterprise security. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating customer use cases into best practices for security and resilience across hybrid multi-cloud environments.

You will partner with customers to develop security use cases, resolve complex challenges, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure success and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 in information security.
• Experience with SIEM systems such as Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, or similar.
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on admin of ES, SOAR or UBA.
• GIAC, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent security certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; strong fundamentals in security.
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments; CLI and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Willingness to undergo security background checks (UK SC clearance).

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to provide technical guidance on use case development and optimization for ES and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Apply security expertise to accelerate adoption of Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Support for customer success.
• Engage with the Account Team to align strategic account plans.
• Build scalable processes, collateral, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Drive CSAT by documenting compelling customer success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
